Description
Simple Dart Game Rules: 501 Points
Scoring
- Single Ring: The number on the board.
- Double Ring: The number on the board multiplied by 2.
- Triple Ring: The number on the board multiplied by 3.
- Bullseye:
- Inner Bull (Red): 50 points
- Outer Bull (Green): 25 points
Game Setup
- Starting the Game:
- Players decide the order of play by throwing a single dart at the bullseye. The player whose dart lands closest to the bullseye goes first.
- Alternatively, players can flip a coin to determine who goes first.
- Turns:
- Each player takes turns throwing three darts.
- After each turn, the score is recorded and subtracted from the player’s current total.
Gameplay
- Reducing the Score:
- Players aim to reduce their score from 501 to zero by hitting the board with their darts.
- The score for each throw is added together and then subtracted from the player’s current total.
- Busting:
- If a player’s score would go below zero or if the exact score needed to win is not achieved with a double, the turn is considered a “bust.” The player’s score reverts to what it was at the beginning of the turn.
- Winning the Game:
- To win, a player must reduce their score to exactly zero and finish on a double (either the double ring or the outer bullseye).
- For example, if a player has 20 points left, they must hit the double 10 (20 points) to win.
